A study-game for ages 5–11
Jambolino is an adventure your kid grows by learning for real. A world sits waiting to come alive — and the math is what powers it. No quiz bolted onto a game. The learning is the game.

A peek inside every world
The idea
Answer three questions, a door opens, back to the fun part. Kids see through it in minutes. Jambolino is built the other way around — solving the math is the thing you do to play.
Gameplay stops. A worksheet appears. Get enough right and you're allowed to have fun again. Learning and play are two separate things, and one is the tax you pay for the other.
Balance a machine by solving the equation. Grow a garden in rows and columns. Share a rainbow into equal parts. Getting better at math is literally how your world lights back up.
Pick your world
Same learning engine underneath, a world that fits the child — and they can switch it any time from their profile. More worlds and subjects are on the workbench.
A brass steampunk isle gone dark. Solve to power its lighthouse, foundry and observatory back to life. Great for tinkerers.
Green hills, rainbow clouds and unicorns. Solve to mend a horseshoe, grow a flower, bake a cupcake. Made to delight.
How mastery works
Jambolino serves each child work at exactly their level, then moves them up only when they've genuinely got it — and gently eases them back a step if they're stuck, so nobody drowns and nobody's bored.
// leveling up is a real "you did it" moment, not a streak you're scared to break
Built for how kids actually learn
Difficulty tracks your kid's real ability, per skill, keeping them in the sweet spot between too easy and too hard — where actual learning happens. Age bands from 5–7 up to 11–14.
A skill only counts as learned when it's shown at the hardest level — with spaced review so it sticks, instead of being forgotten by next week.
Designed for a focused 10–15 minutes, not for keeping a kid glued to a screen. Real progress, then back to the rest of childhood.
For parents
Jambolino is a parent-owned account with your child's profiles under it. It's built to the standards a kids' app should meet — and to earn a parent's trust, not exploit a kid's attention.
Questions parents ask
Ages 5–11 today. The 5–7 band starts with counting and phonics; 8–11 covers real math from addition up to fractions. An 11–14 pack is on the workbench.
Math — in the Clockwork Isle or Rainbow Land — and early reading in its own world (Wordwood, or the Word Garden for Rainbow Land kids). Each subject is played through its own mechanics, never quizzed. More subjects are planned.
The beta is free. Later there'll be a simple family subscription — and never ads, loot boxes, or in-game purchases aimed at kids. Families pay, so kids aren't the product.
The app runs in English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian — and the reading world teaches phonics in all five, chosen per child.
Not yet — challenges are graded and progress is saved on our servers, so it needs a connection. Honest trade-off: it means scores can't be tampered with and progress follows your child across devices.
Android first, as a direct download while we're in beta. iOS is on the roadmap.
Most "learning games" bolt a quiz onto a game: answer three questions, the fun resumes. In Jambolino the math or the reading is the thing you do to play — solving is what powers the world back to life.
Both, from inside the app: restart any child from level 0, or permanently delete the whole account and every trace of your children's data. No emails, no waiting.
